The bowl resembles the midsection and sitting form of a corpulent kid, while the pear-shaped vase looks much like a standing middle-aged man. The three-legged pot has a playfully peculiar appearance with an extra appendage, but each succeeds at giving the otherwise inanimate object a bit of animated personality. The Chubi, Bobi and [Javier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/javier-calleja-2) dishes, as the Chubi y Amigos are called, would make endearing additions to your desk, dining table and more. It's especially appropriate to fill them with sweets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Increased Capacity:** Expanding the size of containers to hold larger quantities presents opportunities for products that cater to consumers with a need for more space. - **Anthropomorphic Design:** Designing vessels with charming anthropomorphic features adds personality and uniqueness to everyday objects and opens up possibilities for creating playful and engaging products. - **Endearing Decor:** Utilizing adorable ceramic vessels as decorative items for desks and dining tables creates opportunities for products that enhance the aesthetics of living spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Capitalizing on the demand for unique and eye-catching home decor pieces, businesses can create and sell ceramic vessels with anthropomorphic designs. - **Kitchenware:** Innovations in ceramic containers can disrupt the kitchenware industry by offering larger capacity options for storing and displaying food and ingredients. - **Gifts and Collectibles:** The endearing nature of Chubi y Amigos ceramic vessels makes them attractive options for businesses in the gifts and collectibles industry, targeting consumers seeking unique and playful items to gift or collect. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Ceramic Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-of-tangible-spaces.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md) - [Big-Headed Sculpture Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-pots.md) - [Eco-Friendly Organized Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tronco.md) - [Experimental Pottery Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gourd-project.md) - [Cherubic Ceramic Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avant-arte.md) - [Revived Mid-Century Serveware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tortugaware.md) - [Playful Packaging-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strawberry-milk-vase.md) - [Anthropomorphized Pet Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-bowl-table.md)
