The updated web sign-in features enable users to securely access websites with a simple pin combination or a fingerprint—which is a part of its new Web Authentication feature. If users still prefer to use their password, they can better secure their account by using their pin or fingerprint for Google's 2-Step Verification when signing in. With the newly introduced personalized lock screens, Chromebook users can also update their displays to feature their own images, or otherwise customize them to suit their tastes.
