The Starfield Library has an extensive collection of publications — the establishment makes over 50,000 books available to its audience. However, its Christmas book display will most definitely steal the spotlight during the festive season. The sculptural project takes up the space of three walls. Mike Stillkey arranges the books in the Starfield Library in such a way as to visually display fantastical sceneries — from a bunny and a reindeer who are riding sleds to dancing cats on blue-furred bears. This Christmas book display will, without a doubt, bring a smile and a degree of whimsicality to the shoppers at COEX Mall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/business) > [Retail](https://www.trendhunter.com/retail) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Book Displays:** The use of book installations to create visually captivating and immersive experiences for readers, enhancing engagement and enjoyment. - **Collaborations with Artists:** Partnerships with renowned artists to create unique and mesmerizing book sculptures, adding an artistic touch to libraries or bookstores. - **Themed Book Installations:** Creating book displays that are themed around specific occasions or seasons, offering a festive and whimsical experience for visitors. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Library Services:** Libraries can explore incorporating interactive book displays to attract and engage readers, fostering a sense of wonder and discovery. - **Art and Design:** Artists can seize opportunities to collaborate with libraries or bookstores, using their creativity to transform books into captivating sculptures and installations. - **Retail and Shopping Centers:** Shopping centers and malls can enhance the customer experience by featuring themed book installations during special occasions, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Revolving Bright Kinetic Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/library-of-light.md) - [Cutout Christmas Tree Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-tree-display.md) - [Exaggerated Holiday Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonder-all-the-way.md) - [Children's Story-Inspired Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/western-academy.md) - [Glass-Lined Towering Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beijing-city-library.md) - [Illuminated Christmas Tree Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-lit-up.md) - [Open-Air Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-billyotheque.md) - [Tree-Like Library Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-of-knowledge.md) - [Floating Wetland Bookstore](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xixi-goldmye-bookstore.md)
