# Bubble Offices This Funky Office Space by Christian Pottgiesser Bubbles with Creativity By Jordan M | Published 2011-02-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-pottgiesser References: [gizfactory](http://gizfactory.com/article/who-wouldn---t-like-to-work-in-a-bubble-office/) & [pottgiesser.fr](http://www.pottgiesser.fr/christian_pottgiesser_architecturespossibles/enter.html) This [futuristic office](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/max-zone) by Christian Pottgiesser is not your everyday workplace, but rather that seems more like it's right out of a Jetsons episode. Feautiring a cathedral-like glass ceiling and rows of [lush green trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bochum-office), this corporate interior is nothing if not modern. Furthermore, each desk has a [transparent bubble](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-stool) around it that almost looks like a windshield. Even though the bubble desks seem to be more aesthetic than functional, it still gives the quirky office space a space-age, otherworldly atmosphere. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Bubble-encased Workspaces:** Designing workspaces with bubble encased desks can create a futuristic and visually stimulating environment for employees. - **Greenery Infused Offices:** Adding greenery to an office space can improve air quality and boost employee morale. - **Futuristic Office Designs:** Employers can create a modern and unique environment to impress clients and attract talent. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Innovative designs like bubble offices can differentiate interior designers and attract clients looking for unconventional spaces. - **Architecture:** Architects can leverage futuristic designs to create buildings and offices that capture attention and stand out in a crowded marketplace. - **Tech:** Tech companies can incorporate unique and modern office designs as part of their high-tech brand image and attract top talent. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Quirky Solo Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-capsules.md) - [Playful Contemporary Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-contemporary-office.md) - [Biophilic Workplace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-garden.md) - [Bubble-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbles-lighting-design.md) - [Contemporary Dynamic Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/officetopia.md) - [Plant-Centric Dynamic Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-of-edyn.md) - [Colorful Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office.md) - [Minimalist Private Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarlux-soundproof-space.md) - [Greenhouse Office Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-for-roundtable.md)
