I am going to try and wrap my non-artistic noodle around 'No Mans Land' by Christian Boltanski. Christian Boltanski's [gigantic art installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) in New York City's Park Avenue Armory is filled with 45 piles of [used clothes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/material-memory) and one crane. Try and stay with me here.

Every few minutes, the crane will drop down and pick up some clothes from a random pile and drop them into a large pile in the center. 'No Mans Land' by Christian Boltanski is his idea of the futility of life and the randomness of death. I can't even do laundry, but I can still appreciate this piece of [mega-scale abstract art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exodus-exhibition).
