The platform takes online music from platforms like [Spotify](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-converter), Soundcloud and [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-ai-dynamics) and turns them into a physical piece of sheet music. The platform was created by Bas De Haas and breaks down melodies and harmonies into chords. This isn't the first time something like this has come around but this one does it the best for a few reasons. The audio is stripped first into different parts. After that the chords are chosen to fit those different audio files. Altogether this makes playing one's favorite music easy and attainable for even the [least experienced guitarists](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-guitar-chords). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Analog-digital Conversion:** The Chordify platform demonstrates the potential for using technology to turn analog music into digital sheet music. - **Music Education Technology:** Chordify's platform paves the way for new edtech businesses focused on making music education more accessible and engaging. - **Streaming Integration:** The integration of Chordify's platform with major music streaming services like Spotify and SoundCloud illustrate the potential for innovative partnerships between music and technology companies. ### Who This Affects Most - **Music Technology:** The music technology industry could explore Chordify's technology for new applications, such as transcribing live performances into sheet music in real-time. - **Edtech:** Edtech companies could incorporate Chordify's platform into online music education tools, allowing users to learn songs hands-on by turning any piece of music into sheet music. - **Streaming Services:** Major music streaming services could use Chordify's technology to offer additional features and benefits to subscribers, such as the ability to easily learn and play along with their favorite tracks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Collaborative Music Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chordvault.md) - [Sheet Music Conversions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/melodyscribe.md) - [Color-Coded Music Sheets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coloredmusicsheet.md) - [Consolidated Digital Music Converters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-converter.md) - [Interactive Music Learning](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/notewize-guitar-lessons.md) - [Multifunctional Music Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chorda.md) - [Mobile Music Analysis Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-analysis-device.md) - [Connected Musical Chord Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chord-machine-akt01.md) - [AI Music Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/musicgeneratorai.md)
