# Asian-Influenced Tablet Tools The Chopstakes Give Razor-sharp Control for Demanding iPad Apps By Jennifer Chang | Published 2011-10-07 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chopstakes-multitouch-styli-for-ipad References: [ipevo](http://www.ipevo.com/chopstakes) & [ipevo](http://www.ipevo.com/prods/IPEVO_Chopstakes_Pair_of_Multitouch_Styli_Type_L) IPEVO's Chopstakes are a great weapon against the frustrating control and precision issues of the daily tablet experience. Chopstakes can be held with one in each hand, but by wielding them together you have a very easy way to perform precise, multi-touch gestures. Chopstakes can speed up your typing, give your gaming a boost and generally give you the fine control you need -- as with drawing apps -- when fingers just won't do. Adventurous types can also use Chopstakes with a chopsticks-style grip for one-handed, multitouch wizardry. Chopstakes are designed with an attractive aluminum alloy weighted to feel just right in the hand; each stylus features a conductive rubber tip specially designed for the iPad. A custom carrying case is included with two lengths are available. Overall, I'd say Chopstakes really hit the bull's eye. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Precise-gesture Stylus:** Chopstakes provide a precise and easy way to perform multi-touch gestures, opening opportunities for the development of more advanced and responsive stylus technologies. - **One-handed Multitouch:** The chopsticks-style grip of Chopstakes enables one-handed multitouch wizardry, creating opportunities for the development of innovative one-handed tablet interaction methods. - **Enhanced Gaming Experience:** Chopstakes boost gaming performance on tablets by providing fine control and precision, creating opportunities for the gaming industry to develop enhanced gaming accessories and experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Tablet Accessories:** Chopstakes offer a solution to the control and precision issues faced by tablet users, presenting an opportunity for the tablet accessory industry to design and market more advanced and user-friendly stylus options. - **Drawing Apps:** Chopstakes provide the fine control needed for drawing apps, creating opportunities for the development of more advanced drawing applications and tools for artists and designers. - **Gaming Industry:** Chopstakes enhance gaming experiences on tablets by improving control and precision, opening opportunities for the gaming industry to innovate and create new gaming accessories and technologies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifunctional Stylus Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mkq.md) - [Aesthetically Functional Chopsticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/restless-chopsticks-tableware.md) - [Magnetic Low-Cost Tablet Styluses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adonit-neo-pro.md) - [Colorful Tech Stylus Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-crayon-pro.md) - [Magnetic Wirelessly Charged Stylus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-stylus-2.md) - [Slide-On Pen Tips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pentips.md) - [Paper-Inspired Drawing Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xencelabs-pen-tablet.md) - [Third-Party Tablet Styluses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/novaplus-a8-duo.md) - [Five-In-One Titanium EDC Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-edc-tool.md)
