Melbourne-based creative studio Chong Shop is introducing a new project in the form of hangers that resemble deflated balloons. These hangers, arriving in colorways such as [Barbie](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-x-kartell-chairs) Pink, Sunny Lime, and Pool Blue, utilize post-consumer waste plastic that the brand sourced from [Defy Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/defy-extreme1), a plastic recycling company.

“[In Melbourne], we have seen a variety of exciting new works, with more diverse disciplines,” she adds. “I wanted to explore more possibilities in new mediums — more sustainable materials, especially with common everyday objects and in a more mass production context,” said Casey Chong, founder of Chong Shop.

The new hangers can be purchased through the [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/COPPERTISTWU) campaign for Chong Shop, which will be available until August 19.
