This appliance does so much more than make sandwiches. It can be used to [make toast](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuisinart-smart-elite-2slice-toaster), eggs, meat, and possibly even do your homework. The Chomp Sandwich Maker was designed by Eric Pautz and Fernanda Filippin. Chomp features a touchscreen for easy cooking and a nice sleek and small design. Having one appliance with the power of three or four would be a nice space- and money-saving touch for any kitchen. I'll take two. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multi-functional Appliances:** The Chomp Sandwich Maker exemplifies the trend of multi-functional appliances that can perform multiple cooking tasks. - **Space-saving Kitchen Gadgets:** The Chomp Sandwich Maker addresses the need for space-saving kitchen gadgets in small apartments and cramped kitchens. - **Simplified Cooking Technology:** Chomp's touchscreen interface represents the trend of simplified cooking technology, offering ease of use and convenience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** The emergence of multi-functional appliances like the Chomp Sandwich Maker creates disruptive innovation opportunities within the kitchen appliance manufacturing industry. - **Home Goods Retail:** The demand for space-saving kitchen gadgets opens up disruptive innovation opportunities for retailers in the home goods industry. - **Smart Kitchen Technology:** The Chomp Sandwich Maker's touchscreen interface reflects the potential for disruptive innovation in the smart kitchen technology industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Countertop Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multimaker-flex-press-grill-system.md) - [Multi-Position Bread Toasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taurus-toaster-30.md) - [Smart Breakfast Griddles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/briochef.md) - [Stuffed Pancake Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cucinapro-stuffed-pancake-maker.md) - [Multitasking Combi Fryers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreo-chefmaker.md) - [Egg-Based Snack Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muffin-maker.md) - [All-in-One Smart Multi-Cookers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-multicookers.md) - [Hybrid Heating Countertop Cookers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cooker.md) - [Modern All-In-One Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allinone-kitchen-appliances.md)
