These bowls were made specifically to be used as [statement pieces around the home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basket-sculptures) as opposed to having a functional purpose. The pieces are truly distinctive as they replicate nature in an incredibly surreal way. Often real plants and bushes tend to shed and require maintenance, which is why people often opt for [faux plant fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trader-joes-mini-can-foliage) in their abodes. These grass garden bowls by the Chocolate Factory are beautifully designed with [colorful flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-verre-bonbon), and are sure to accommodate most living spaces in terms of decor. The bowls are only 10cm in diameter and 8cm high, so they don't take up much space either. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Realistic Plant Replicas:** Opportunity to create realistic, low-maintenance plant replicas for home decor. - **Surreal Nature-inspired Designs:** Opportunity to create surreal, nature-inspired designs for statement pieces in home decor. - **Space-saving Decorative Bowls:** Opportunity to design compact, decorative bowls for small living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the home decor industry to create unique and low-maintenance plant replicas. - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the art and design industry to create surreal and nature-inspired statement pieces. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in the interior design industry to design compact and decorative bowls for small living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aquatic Plant-Inspired Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lilypad-cake-stand.md) - [Dynamic Colored Glass Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass.md) - [Sprouting Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-chair-on-grass.md) - [Mushroom-Based Fruit Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mycoworks-fruit-bowl.md) - [Plant-Friendly Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jcp-universe-coloniae.md) - [Unusual Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-brown-paper-bag-vase.md) - [Mushroom Leather Fruit Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-fruit-bowl-by-heron-preston.md) - [Whimsical Storage Baskets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-mushroom-woven-basket.md) - [Oversized Colorful Dynamic Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tfm.md)
