The recipe was dreamed up by Keith Previte and Sean Robbins, who cold called Los Angeles-based businessman and chef one day to get him to try it out. He recalls, "So I said, 'Come on over, make me some chicken.' I wanted to see how crazy and stupid they were. I tasted it and I said, 'Hey, you guys aren't stupid at all.'"
