However, being carried around on what feels like the top of the word for a child can be unsafe and impractical for the parent. The SaddleBaby Child Shoulder Carrier makes shoulder carrying more enjoyable for both parties. The parent can remain [hands-free](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dad-hoodies), but still be assured of their child's safety and the child can enjoy the view without slipping and sliding around. The nifty contraption features a strong Velcro straps and adjustable buckle chest harness for the parent, which then links to the child to keep them securely seated in a [foam seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-travel-essential). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Shoulder-mounted Kiddie Carriers:** Innovative shoulder-mounted carriers offer a safer and more enjoyable experience for both parent and child. - **Hands-free Parenting:** The development of hands-free child carriers provides convenience and freedom for parents on-the-go. - **Enhanced Safety Features:** Child carriers with adjustable straps and secure buckles ensure the safety and comfort of the child during transportation. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Childcare Products:** The childcare products industry can explore the production of innovative shoulder-mounted carriers to cater to the needs of parents. - **Outdoor Gear:** The outdoor gear industry can incorporate hands-free child carriers into their product line, appealing to adventurous parents. - **Travel and Tourism:** Incorporating safe and comfortable shoulder-mounted carriers can enhance the travel experience for families visiting tourist destinations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Inflatable Infant Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-baby-carrier.md) - [Storage-Equipped Baby Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunveno-new-ergonomic-baby-carrier.md) - [Miniaturized Doll Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doll-carrier.md) - [Multi-Functional Baby Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-baby-carrier.md) - [Modern Soft Baby Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/konny-baby-carrier.md) - [Additional Bike Seat Addons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kazam-co-pilot-bike-trailer.md) - [Back-Borne Bike Harnesses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bike-harness.md) - [Convenient Baby Harness Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-travel-essential.md) - [Feedback-Informed Modern Baby Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-baby-carriers.md)
