For those unfamiliar, pupusas are a thick griddle cake made from cornmeal or rice flour that hails from El Salvador and Honduras. Trader Joe's new Chicken Cheese & Green Chile Pupusas deliver that classic papusa flavor in the form of a handy [frozen meal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-chicken-mole). Each box of [Trader Joe’s](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worlds-puffiest-sour-cream-onion-corn-puffs) Chicken, Cheese & Green Chile Pupusas contains several flattened corn balls that have been filled with a flavorful mix of chicken breast & thigh meat, shredded mozzarella cheese, and roasted Hatch chiles. The end result is "a sort of savory, stuffed pancake" that makes a good snack or a great meal when paired with your favorite sides.
