Set in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, the Chicha Cafetin hotel restaurant was inspired by street-style fritangas and cafetins that Nicaraguan-born architect Palazio Wall remembers from his childhood.

The restaurant was made inside an [old warehouse garage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sko-restaurant), converting it into an airy and playful [South American space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mareida) with a background of blues and tropical-themed colors. Adding thick hardwood flooring, cement times and luxurious gold-hued chairs, the space has a unique design that is already an instant classic for locals and tourists. Local artist W3RC put forward a [giant tropical jungle mural](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/field-guide-1) to create a warm atmosphere that is modern and comforting.

The Chicha Cafetin restaurant serves a Millennial take on classic Nicaraguan street food, with multiple house-made options and flavorful dishes to pull together a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
