# Beautiful Bunching Illuminators The Cherry Pendant Lamp Comprises Minimalist Magnetized Globes By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-12-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cherry-pendant-lamp References: [leibal](http://leibal.com/products/cherry/) & [kaschkasch.de](http://www.kaschkasch.de/whatDetailsCherry.html) If you break it down, there isn't a whole lot to the look of Cherry Pendant Lamp, but such is the appeal of minimalist design. Where this lovely collection of illuminators branches off from its simple and purist counterparts is in a hidden feature that affects the behavior of adjacent objects. The kaschkasch light fixtures themselves comprise a [slender wooden cylinder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp) with all of the electrical parts concealed inside. Screwed into this is [perfectly spherical lightbulb](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takeout-lamp) on the bottom, while a single cable escapes from the top. What you won't immediately realize is that every Cherry Pendant Lamp has a [strong magnet encased within it](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nekospace-orchard). This makes it stick to its other units that dangle beside it, producing the charming visual appearance of a bunch of berry fruits. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Lighting:** Opportunity for creating minimalist lighting designs that prioritize simplicity and functionality. - **Hidden Features:** Innovation potential in incorporating hidden features in products to enhance their functionality and aesthetics. - **Magnetic Connections:** Potential for utilizing magnetic connections to create unique and customizable product arrangements. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the lighting design industry by integrating minimalist concepts and hidden features. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating magnetic connections in interior design products can lead to new ways of arranging and customizing furniture and fixtures. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for innovative home decor products that utilize minimalist design and hidden features to create unique visual appeal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Encapsulated Semi-Transparent Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nested-pendant-light.md) - [Customizable Magnetic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-magnetic-lamp.md) - [Exquisite Textured Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendant-lamp1.md) - [Minimally Designed Ethereal Pendants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass.md) - [Plant-Inspired Dynamic Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossom-chandelier.md) - [Portable Mushroom-Like Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ichi-table-lamp.md) - [Domino-Inspired Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domino-pendant.md) - [Stunningly Minimalist Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md)
