To celebrate the arrival of spring, two new offerings from [McDonald’s](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mcdonalds-japan-mcflurry) Japan include a cherry frappe and mocha. The espresso in the McDonald’s Sakuranbo Mocha is infused with chocolate and cherry syrup, made from Japanese-grown cherries. To top it off, the mocha is decorated with a tart raspberry sauce. The Sakuranbo Frappe also uses the Japanese-made cherry syrup and because of its very pink coloring and the crushed strawberry candies sprinkled on top, it looks much more like a sakura-inspired drink.
