# Woven Coffee Tables Cheig Bench by Sollo Brasil Adds Texture to Decor By Rose Nazarali | Published 2009-08-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheig-bench-by-sollo-brasil References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2009/08/19/woven-bench/) & [sollosbrasil.ind.br](http://www.sollosbrasil.ind.br/) Coffee tables are an excellent way to bring a piece of your personality to a room and still have chic home decor. The Cheig Bench is a a quirky [coffee table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-coffee-table) that adds texture and color without being overbearing. The [woven table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woven-chair-designs) brings classic form to a modern look and does so quite beautifully. Available in a [variety of colors and patterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables), my favorite would have to be the multi-patterned (pictured above) Cheig Bench. It’s classic and funky while providing eye-catching textures. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Textured Coffee Tables:** Opportunity for companies to create innovative coffee tables that incorporate texture and color, adding personality to home decor. - **Modern Woven Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for furniture companies to design modern woven furniture pieces that blend classic form with contemporary aesthetics. - **Multicolor Patterns in Home Decor:** Increasing trend of incorporating multicolor patterns in home decor products, offering opportunities for companies to create eye-catching and funky designs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can explore the disruptive innovation potential of incorporating texture and color into coffee tables to enhance their appeal. - **Home Decor Retail:** Opportunity for home decor retailers to offer modern woven furniture pieces that cater to the growing demand for unique and textured home decor items. - **Textile Industry:** The increasing popularity of multicolor patterns in home decor presents an opportunity for the textile industry to produce fabrics that can be used in various home decor products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Bent Steel Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creu-coffee-table.md) - [Curvaceous Bench-Style Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shell-table.md) - [Expertly Woven Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicker-side-table.md) - [Artful Coffee Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertushka.md) - [Solid-Ash Wooden Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boia.md) - [Dynamic Coffee Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryb-coffee-table.md) - [Curvaceous Animalistic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookpet-coffee-table.md) - [Bent Multi-Functional Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shell-table.md)
