The charging pilot program will initially be available to 200 eligible homes in California, which will be required to have enough space to charge a car, either inside or outside. Home charging will be installed by Qmerit. Potential early adopters can be pre-qualified through an online questionnaire. If approved, they can visit one of 33 locations to sign into a 33-month lease on a 530e BMW.
