Equipped with six LED-lit [fast charging pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fastcharging-ev-stations), the station offers a secure place for drivers to plug in their vehicles and stop to pick up [snacks, drinks or other non-food items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recharge-by-gelsons) as needed. According to Audi, the stations are capable of topping up an E-Tron GT from 5% to 80% battery in 23 minutes thanks to a set of recycled lithium-ion battery cubes and solar power collected by the building's roof panels. The experience that Audi's charging stations provide is reminiscent of airport lounges for first-class fliers, since travelers have the chance to replenish themselves on-site with a variety of refreshments. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **EV Charging Lounges:** The creation of upscale EV charging lounges provides a unique opportunity for businesses to enhance the customer experience and explore innovative and eco-friendly solutions. - **Fast Charging Pods:** Advancements in fast charging pods for EV's provides a disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to create efficient and environmentally sustainable transportation solutions. - **Solar Power Collection:** Incorporating solar power collection into EV charging stations presents a promising opportunity for companies to create more environmentally-friendly practices and products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Automotive:** The automotive industry has the opportunity to create innovative EV charging solutions and enhance the overall EV experience. - **Energy:** The energy industry can create efficient solutions for EV charging through advancements in solar power technology and energy storage. - **Hospitality/service Industry:** The creation of upscale EV charging lounges provides a unique opportunity for the hospitality and service industry to improve customer experiences and offer convenient eco-friendly solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Experiential EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porsche-charging-lounge.md) - [Unwinding Multifunctional Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/better-energy-charge.md) - [Scalable EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epit-ultra-fast-charging-station.md) - [Vehicle-Matching Charger Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clair-electric-vehicle-charger.md) - [Nostalgic Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-tesla-diner.md) - [Eco EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retail-and-electric-vehicle-charging-station.md) - [Artistic Lamppost EV Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voltpost.md) - [Dedicated Electric Vehicle Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-vehicle-station.md) - [Robust Charging Station Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fast-charging-stations.md)
