The Star Wars R2-D2 AC/USB Power Station offers the space for several more plug-ins as well as the option to charge USB devices for added convenience. The Star Wars power station by Think Geek creatively makes use of R2-D2's rounded body to offer more space on the wall mount for extra outlets. The device is decked out to look like R2-D2's drone self with blue, white and silver hardware. Along either side of the drone's body are two outlets, making for four in total without the need for added cords. The base also has two USB slots for smartphones and laptops. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Drone Charging Solutions:** A trend towards developing charging solutions for drones that offer more versatility and convenience. - **Creative Outlet Design:** A trend towards incorporating creative and unique designs into outlet and charging station solutions. - **Tech Device Integration:** A trend towards integrating charging solutions for a variety of tech devices, including drones, smartphones, and laptops. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can capitalize on the trend towards developing more versatile charging solutions for tech devices. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can capitalize on the trend towards incorporating creative and unique designs into outlet and charging station solutions. - **Drone Manufacturing:** Drone manufacturers can capitalize on the trend towards developing charging solutions specifically designed for drones that offer more convenience and versatility. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Voltage-Monitoring Charging Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-prime-6in1-charging-station.md) - [10-in-One Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-647-charging-station.md) - [10-Port Nightstand Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plugable-ps10cc.md) - [Cyberpunk-Style Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trozk-65-rgb-charging-station.md) - [Spaceship-Inspired USB Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/docking-station-usb-hub.md) - [Power Station Outlet Adapters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anker-powerextend-usbc-plug.md) - [Aesthetic Functional Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-force-power-station.md) - [Contemporary Power Strip Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonbase-1.md) - [Ambient Illumination Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arkeep-halo-portable-power-station.md)
