The Chanel AW13 collection was showcased in truly lavish style in Paris. This year marks the 100th anniversary since the classic and iconic label first opened its doors to Paris in 1913. The celebration was evident in the collection, which saw models strut around a huge globe that lit up and twinkled, pinpointing the location of the 300 Chanel stores dotted around the globe.
The models, who included it-girl Cara Delevingne, wore the classic Chanel tweed in a number of different styles and prints. One common theme that ran throughout was the addition of leather pull knee-high stockings, which looked amazing with block heeled and chain-clad Chanel ankle boots. As a trail-blazing brand, this AW13 collection is an insight into what we all might be wearing next winter.
