The main body and illumination unit on the lamp are crafted from [discarded paper rolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi) to recycle them into something functional instead of allowing them to be thrown away. This also allows the lamp to have an inherently [lightweight design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aplat) for easy placement on any workstation for a customized level of illumination. The 'CHAKKAR BATTI' paper roll lamp has an articulating design that allows the illuminator head to be rotated up to 270-degrees. This provides a fine-tuned level of illumination for getting work done after dark or as a way to set the mood during the day. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sustainable Lighting:** Opportunities to develop innovative lighting solutions using sustainable materials. - **Circular Design:** Opportunities to design products using discarded materials that would otherwise be thrown away. - **Articulating Illumination:** Opportunities to create adjustable illumination mechanisms to provide customized lighting solutions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Opportunities to provide eco-friendly and customized lighting solutions for homes and businesses. - **Sustainability:** Opportunities to create sustainable products and promote eco-friendliness in product design. - **Waste Management:** Opportunities to create products using discarded materials to promote circularity and reduce waste. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Made Origami Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-origami-lamp.md) - [Recycled Paper Pulp Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-lamp1.md) - [Elegant Axis-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendulum-lamp.md) - [Recycled Material Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozy-cleo-lamp.md) - [Pencil Shaving-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharpener-lampshades.md) - [Glowing Bamboo Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paardarshi.md) - [Organic Paper-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito.md) - [Portable Pen-Holding Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pod-lamp-concept.md) - [Bonfire-Inspired Indoor Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iri-lamp.md)
