I am not sure how comfortable this stool would be, but the table variation looks pretty neat! **Chairs & Toys** needs 16 bottles with a standard size neck. You can use it as either a stool (I would suspect that with empty bottles, the child must be pretty lightweight), or a [play table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wire-chair-concept). It looks like a fun addition to any [kid's room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twiny-sofa-system). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 43% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sustainable Furniture:** By repurposing soda bottles into furniture, there is an opportunity for the sustainable furniture trend to grow. - **Upcycling:** The soda bottle furniture showcases the potential for upcycling discarded materials into functional products. - **DIY Home Decor:** The ability to easily convert soda bottles into furniture provides an opportunity for the DIY home decor trend to expand. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** The soda bottle furniture presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the traditional furniture industry by offering an eco-friendly alternative. - **Sustainability:** The use of soda bottles as furniture aligns with the sustainability industry's focus on reducing waste and promoting resourcefulness. - **Children's Products:** The soda bottle furniture appeals to the children's products industry by providing an eco-conscious and interactive furniture option for kids' rooms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Recycled Waste Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xox-chair.md) - [Chic Recycled Material Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vale-furniture-collection.md) - [Recycled Aluminum Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joy-stool-one.md) - [Olive Pit-Constructed Kids Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nontalo.md) - [Recycled Dynamic Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bultan-chair.md) - [Colorful Sustainable Recycled Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stump-recycled.md) - [Waste-Incorporated Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-chairs.md) - [Plastic-Inspired Wooden Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plastic-translation-stool.md) - [Electronic Packaging-Made Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edgar-stool.md)
