The Zombie Strike Brainsaw Blaster not only has a badass name but also works really well -- this weaponized toy is actually capable of firing eight foam darts from each of its barrels. At $30, this toy is not too expensive to pick up for your child and is sure to give them countless hours of enjoyment. This chainsaw toy is a product that encourages children to live out their wildest post-apocalyptic zombie-annihilating fantasies, and the ways they can play with this toy are limited by their own imagination alone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Child-safe Weaponized Toys:** The innovation opportunity lies in developing more child-safe weaponized toys for imaginative play. - **Fantasy Play Products for Kids:** The innovation opportunity lies in designing more products that will encourage kids to use their imagination during fantasy role-play. - **Hybrid Toy Weapons:** The innovation opportunity lies in designing toys that combine imaginative play with firing mechanism or shooting abilities. ### Who This Affects Most - **Toy Industry:** Assuming the toy industry will need to innovate and design more engaging, imaginative play products for kids. - **Safety Equipment Industry:** The innovation opportunity lies in developing child-safe equipment for any recreational activity that is considered dangerous. - **Entertainment Industry:** Innovating toys that cater to kids' post-apocalyptic fantasies opens opportunities for cross-overs with gaming or movie franchises in the entertainment industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Adult-Targeted Foam Disc Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disc-blaster.md) - [Prehistoric Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dinosquad-armorstrike-blaster.md) - [Kid-Safe Toy Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeroleap.md) - [Fashionable Zombie Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zombaes-critter-chaos.md) - [Child-Focused Chef Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zwilling-twinny.md) - [Interchangeable Component Power Saws](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3in1-multitool.md) - [Anti-Gun Water Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigun-water-toys-jayhayspray20-promotes-change-in-societys-relationship-w.md) - [Cutting-Edge Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/long-range-blasters.md) - [Creative STEM-Based Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jitterygit.md)
