Although some may cringe at the 'defacement' of these [beautiful artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brent-estabrook-debuts-storytime), I only see [modern creativity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow) in Chad Wys' portfolio. Entitled 'Epoch Organic 2,' with the succinct subtitle description, 'A [Carnival of Brutalized Delights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness),' it seems that the American artist knows his work is rather controversial.

Yet I find it an interesting commentary on what it means to be original in a day and age where everything seems to be 'inspired' by the past. Chad Wys embraces this blurred concept of originality by creating pieces that encourage thought and discussion.
