# Built-In Aquarium Showers The Cesana Plano Acquario Allows You to Bathe With Your Fishy Friends By Meghan Young | Published 2011-03-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cesana-plano-acquario References: [dvice](http://dvice.com/archives/2011/03/shower-with-bui.php) & [cesanausa](http://www.cesanausa.com/news/7/86/Plano-Acquario/) Although a very quirky concept, the Cesana Plano Acquario shower may be well overdue. I mean, with water being the common denominator between both a shower and an aquarium, it seems more related than one would first believe. Plus, people that have pets absolutely love them, even if they aren't cuddly. The Cesana Plano Acquario shower at least allows fish owners to stick close to them even when in the shower. Custom built for each customer, one Cesana Plano Acquario shower is never going to be the same as the next. Although the fish tank concept is pretty cool, you can substitute it for a television or greenhouse if you aren't a fish person. Essentially, the glass box attachment to the Cesana Plana is very versatile. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Built-in Aquarium Showers:** The trend of integrating aquariums into showers presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the home improvement industry. - **Personalized Shower Experiences:** The trend of custom-built shower systems opens up opportunities for personalized and unique bathing experiences, potentially disrupting the bathroom fixtures industry. - **Multifunctional Shower Attachments:** The trend of versatile shower attachments, such as glass boxes for aquariums, televisions, or greenhouses, offers opportunities for innovative and customizable bathroom fixtures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Improvement:** The integration of built-in aquarium showers can disrupt the home improvement industry by appealing to customers looking for unique and visually appealing bathroom fixtures. - **Bathroom Fixtures:** The personalized and custom-built shower systems trend can disrupt the bathroom fixtures industry by offering individualized bathing experiences tailored to customer preferences. - **Aquarium and Pet:** The trend of integrating aquariums into showers creates opportunities for disruption in the aquarium and pet industry, appealing to fish owners who want to stay close to their pets even during showers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zucchetti-bar-59-shower.md) - [Fish Tank-Inspired Japanese Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nao-iwanari.md) - [Ice-Filled Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacial-shower-shower-head.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Triple-Aerator Outdoor Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ffqt-outdoor-shower.md) - [Aromatherapy Infused Shower Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprig-shower-infusion-system.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Pressure-Sensitive Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shower-concept.md) - [Intelligent Bathroom Bathing Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-smart-bath-and-shower-purifier.md)
