These minimalist, hipster-loving mugs are each crafted in Paris, France by Cyrielle herself. She paints each mug and then fires them at high temperatures in a oven built for ceramics, and she does this all in her spare time. These mugs feature charming graphics of birds, deer, owls, colorful mountains and multi-colored triangles. Each mug is made from [fine French white porcelain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monte-porcelain) and painted with specific paint pigments that are microwave and dishwasher-safe. Asleep From Day also does custom orders and also has a wide range of vases, platters and tea candle holders. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hand-painted Ceramics:** Opportunity for automated or streamlined hand-painted ceramic production. - **Customized Dishware:** Opportunity for personalized and customizable dishware production using automation or digital technologies. - **Sustainable Materials:** Opportunity for sustainable materials, such as recycled porcelain, in the production of hipster dishware. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Hand-painted ceramics and customized dishware can be made for both functional and aesthetic purposes in home decor. - **Food and Beverage:** Restaurants and cafes can offer one-of-a-kind dishware that reflects their brand aesthetic. - **Sustainable Living:** Opportunities exist to create dishware that reflects sustainable living, for example, recycled porcelain mugs, using solar-powered kilns, and minimizing packaging. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dinosaur-Shaped Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawaii-ceramic-dinosaur-mug.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md) - [Adorable Ceramic Homeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-homeware1.md) - [Festive Tree-Inspired Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-tree-mugs.md) - [Artsy Surrealist Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gohar-world.md) - [Curvaceously Ergonomic Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porcelain-tumbler.md) - [Handmade Modern Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-gunia-project.md) - [Luxurious Patterned Ceramic Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patterned-ceramic-plates.md) - [Anime-Themed Coffee Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mug-tumblers.md)
