Designed by [Studio Lorier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gourd-project), the 'Nature Balance' works by being filled with water and slowly allowing plants and flowers to stay hydrated for up to 28-days. When the internal reservoir is empty, the 'Nature Balance' will lean to one side to let you know it's time to give it a refill. The 'Nature Balance' ceramic flower pot is capable of holding up to 24-ounces of water and is suitable for a wide array of different plants and flowers to be planted within. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Smart Plant Care:** The 'Nature Balance' ceramic flower pot combines technology and design to provide a smart way of watering plants and flowers. - **Automated Plant Maintenance:** Self-watering flower pots like the 'Nature Balance' offer a convenient solution for busy individuals to keep their plants hydrated without manual intervention. - **Water Conservation:** Ceramic flower pots with built-in reservoirs like the 'Nature Balance' help reduce water waste by providing plants with just the right amount of hydration. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Décor and Gardening:** The innovative 'Nature Balance' flower pot aligns with the growing trend of incorporating smart and sustainable solutions in home decoration and gardening. - **Iot and Smart Home:** The integration of self-watering capabilities in flower pots presents an opportunity for IoT companies to develop smart home systems that monitor and automate plant care. - **Sustainable Design:** The 'Nature Balance' ceramic flower pot exemplifies the potential for sustainable design by promoting water conservation in horticulture and indoor gardening. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Self-Watering Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivo-pot.md) - [Self-Watering Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leafypod.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Self-Watering Flowerpots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gropot.md) - [Spherical Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-basil-selfwatering-globe.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md)
