Istanbul-based design studio Bilgin Architects is the powerhouse behind the Central Control Building design. It is defined by its shimmering facade comprised of [mirrored steel panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jzef-wider-state-music-school). The building is located in Karapinar, Turkey, which is a hub for the continent's largest solar farms.

The farm means to create a centralized area to help control and monitor the large field of [3.2 million solar panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-tower-1) on site. It is designed as a study of contrasts as the metallic facade is meant to reflect and juxtapose the textures around the location. Founding partner Caner Bilgin tells [Dezeen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-face-house), "Thanks to the high reflectance levels of the facades, the building becomes integrated with the geography it inhabits. The silhouette of the horizon continues on the facades."
