The launch marks Master Distiller Owen Martin's debut innovation for the brand's high-end lineup. ANGEL'S ENVY's new Cellar Collection Series Vol. 5 addition boasts a distinctive straight rye whiskey that underwent a unique finishing process in French oak barrels that were previously used for extra añejo tequila. This approach serves to create a complex flavor profile that bridges whiskey and tequila traditions. The production involved careful selection of tequila casks from [Hacienda PATRÓN](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corralejo-tequila) in Jalisco, Mexico, followed by a meticulous blending process combining younger (up to seven-year-old_ and older (over 11-year-old) rye whiskeys to achieve depth and balance. The resulting spirit presents an aromatic bouquet of floral and fruity notes complemented by vanilla, clove, and agave undertones, with a palate that transitions from baking spices to tropical fruit sweetness.
