CELLA by ecoid takes on a skeletal frame that allows even more greenery to pop out, which is great considering it is meant for [moss and other small plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere). Made out of a [flexible, lightweight plastic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter), CELLA by ecoid is versatile. It can be used indoors or outdoors and can either be [mounted on the wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300) or on a flat surface in a group and alone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Skeletal Planters:** Designing indoor/outdoor planters with a skeletal frame encourages further exploration of unusual design materials and out-of-the-box designs. - **Wall-mounted Planters:** Developing wall-mounted planters allows businesses to experiment with unique design solutions, and provide a space-saving solution to customers who want to decorate their living spaces with greenery. - **Small-space Gardening:** With the increasing trend of small homes and limited living spaces worldwide, creating planters meant for small plants and limited areas can prove to be a game-changing innovation in the gardening industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can benefit from creating innovative planters to help transform small and crowded living spaces. - **Retail:** Retail companies can tap into the market of indoor/outdoor gardening by offering unique planters and gardening accessories, capitalizing on a rapidly growing industry. - **Gardening Supplies:** Industries that manufacture gardening supplies can aim to create cost-effective, lightweight materials that cater to both small and large- scale gardening needs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Handle-Equipped Planter Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-plant-shelf.md) - [Illusory Planter Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-planter.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Office-Space Luscious Planets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley.md) - [Integrated Planter Worktables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantable-office.md) - [Demure Dual-Function Hanging Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-fixture-planter.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md)
