Callo and Cally are cell phone robots made of used [Nokia](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokia-n90-x-nothing-concept) N82 phone parts and components from a Bioloid robot kit. The robots can dance, cry, and show emotion.

Ji-Dong Yim, a PhD student in interactive arts and technology, and Chris Shaw, Yim's doctoral supervisor, created Callo and Cally. The cell phone robots use wireless networking, text messaging and other technology to communicate human emotions. They have the ability to detect and track user's facial expressions in order to interact.
