She has just released a video called The Audition that features an amazing performance by Celia herself going through the ridiculous things that actors have to undergo in an audition. The video starts out with Celia entering a room that only has a single chair in front of a blank wall. The video is filmed in a continuous shot as Celia takes direction from an unseen voice. You'll see her dance on the spot, pour water on herself, cut her own hair, remove her top and even make herself vomit on the floor -- all in the hopes to get a part in a movie, play or video. Celia has worked as a choreographer for many well-known artist such as SebastiAn, MGMT, Chromeo and several others. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Virtual Auditions:** The use of virtual reality and advanced technologies can revolutionize the audition process for actors, making it more efficient and cost-effective. - **Self-taping Services:** With the growth of online auditions, there is an opportunity to offer affordable, professional-grade self-taping services to actors. - **Acting Classes Online:** Online acting classes can provide accessibility to aspiring actors in remote areas and could be a cost-effective alternative to traditional acting schools. ### Who This Affects Most - **Entertainment Industry:** With the growing need for online auditions and self-taping services, the entertainment industry can benefit from investing in innovative auditioning technologies and services. - **Technology Industry:** There is an opportunity for technology companies to create software and apps that provide online acting classes, self-tape services, and virtual audition platforms. - **Education Industry:** Educational institutions that offer acting courses can expand their reach by providing online acting classes through platforms like Coursera and Udacity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Emotive AI Actors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creatorkit.md) - [AI Emotional Actors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotive-ai-actors.md) - [Empowering Short Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no-decision-without-us.md) - [Intense Elemental-Inspired Sportswear Spots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engineered-for-whatever-ad.md) - [Musical Haircare Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acidic-bonding-concentrate.md) - [Performance Art Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bio-pop.md) - [Journalist-Focused Short Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shooting.md) - [Avant-Garde Theatrical Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avantgarde-theatrical-experience.md) - [Endurance Tap Dance Performances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endurance-tap-dance.md)
