British [street artist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enigmatic-graffiti) 'Pegasus' created a mural to support Kanye West's 2020 presidential bid. Inspired by Kim Kardashian's scandalous Paper Magazine cover where she appeared nude, the artist censored any inappropriate areas with banners with "Kanye For President" on them. The artist views American politics as more of a celebrity-oriented activity at this point and thinks Kanye has a chance at the presidential bid. The artist thinks Kanye is the "best in the world at what he does" and is also tantalized by the idea of Kim Kardashian as a first lady. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/graffiti) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Political Celebrity Phenomenon:** There is a trend of celebrities entering politics and using their fame to gain support. - **Merging Art and Politics:** Artists are increasingly using their work to make political statements and provoke discussions. - **Controversial Art Installations:** Art installations that push boundaries and provoke controversy are gaining attention. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** There are opportunities for artists to explore the fusion of art and political messages. - **Entertainment and Politics:** The intersection of entertainment and politics presents opportunities for collaboration and engagement. - **Publishing and Media:** Controversial art installations can generate buzz and media coverage, providing opportunities for publishers and media companies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Online Abuse-Condemning Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marcus-rashford-mural.md) - [Celebrity Crypto Debit Launches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yzy-card.md) - [Body Paint Fashion Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miley-cyrus-maison-margiela.md) - [Celebrity-Endorsed Pill Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beats-x-kim.md) - [100-Yard 3D Screen Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skkn-by-kim-1.md) - [Street Art Metaverses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frieze-los-angeles.md) - [Political Campaign Game Maps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freedom-town.md) - [Post-Pandemic Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakwena-maciver.md) - [Limited-Edition Artist-Honoring Tees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takashi-murakami-tee.md)
