Birthday cake ice cream is a classic treat, but now you can enjoy the same rainbow sprinkle-studded treat in the form of a cold and creamy gelato. Trader Joe's new Celebration Cake Gelato is made by Italian gelato experts who have crafted this recipe stateside. The supplier uses creamy cake-batter-flavored gelato and then adds in real cake pieces and a smattering of [rainbow sprinkles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halloween-sprinkle) for a sweet and colorful dessert experience. While delicious on its own, the Celebration Cake Gelato also makes the perfect addition to the extra sweet milkshake. Or you can get a little meta and pair the gelato with some real birthday cake.
