This is thanks to a series of [wall-mounted racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto) that can be angled in a variety of positions, therefore allowing consumers to hang all sorts of things high up on the wall as well as on the ceiling if needed. With many millennials occupying a home in an apartment, condo or rented space set up, finding storage for items such as bikes, snowboards and other gear can be quite taxing. This is why the 'Zero Gravity Racks' are invaluable as they free up [storage space on the floor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tamo) by moving it to the wall or ceiling. The racks provide a flat and durable space to hold all sorts of [sport equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokhu-rack). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ceiling Storage Solutions:** Innovative storage solutions that utilize ceiling space and provide easy access to household and sporting items. - **Maximizing Small Space Storage:** Innovative solutions that optimize small living spaces for clutter-free living and increased functionality. - **Versatile Wall-mounted Racks:** Versatile wall-mounted racks that provide an adaptable and customizable storage solution for homes and businesses. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Sporting Goods:** The sporting goods industry can benefit from innovative storage solutions that maximize space and improve accessibility for customers. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate ceiling storage solutions to optimize small living spaces and create unique and functional designs for clients. - **Home Improvement:** Home improvement companies can offer versatile wall-mounted racks as a way to increase storage options for customers and add value to their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ceiling-Mounted Laundry Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goodliving.md) - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Envelope-Style Shoe Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoe-storage-rack.md) - [Level-Access Car Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-racks.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Rollable Rooftop Cargo Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooftop-cargo-rack.md) - [Sleek Tension-Mounted Gyms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kensui.md) - [Convenience-Focused Rotating Shoe Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotating-shoe-rack.md) - [Tri-Functional Bicycle Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trifunctional-bicycle-rack.md)
