# LED Lantern Shower Heads The Iride Ceiling Shower Head Offers Both Illumination and Water By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-06-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceiling-shower References: [homecrux](http://www.homecrux.com/2017/06/24/72874/iride-antonio-lupi-ceiling-showerhead-led-lantern.html) & [antoniolupi.it](https://www.antoniolupi.it/en/products/showerheads/iride) Light fixtures and shower faucets are traditionally kept separate, but the Iride ceiling shower head aims to change this with a design that incorporates a lantern-like design. Sitting like a light fixture on the ceiling, the Iride shower head is capable of offering LED illumination in a color of your choosing while also providing water for you to shower in. The Iride ceiling shower head is the design work of Marco Pisati and comes with a waterproof remote control in order to let users customize the color of the illumination to their exact specifications during each shower. The Iride lantern shower head comes as an ultra-modern take on classic bathroom fixtures to make the space feel cleaner and more modern in design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Integrated Lighting:** LED shower heads that incorporate illumination offer the opportunity for seamless integration of lighting and plumbing fixtures. - **Customizable Shower Experience:** Waterproof remote controls allow users to personalize the color of the LED illumination, enhancing the shower experience. - **Modern Bathroom Fixtures:** The Iride ceiling shower head represents a modern and sleek design, transforming traditional bathroom fixtures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Bathroom Fixtures:** The integration of LED lighting into shower heads presents opportunities for innovation in the bathroom fixtures industry. - **Home Improvement:** The customizable features of the Iride shower head align with the home improvement industry's focus on personalized upgrades. - **Plumbing:** The combination of water delivery and LED illumination in shower heads offers potential disruption in the plumbing industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Two-in-One Spa-Like Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-faucet-hydrorain.md) - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Modular Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zucchetti-bar-59-shower.md) - [Triple-Aerator Outdoor Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ffqt-outdoor-shower.md) - [Ice-Filled Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacial-shower-shower-head.md)
