The long-lasting wooden frames are built in two size options to choose from and are crafted from [natural cedar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prospect-berkshires-resort) to make them a naturalistic addition to a front or back garden. The tall protectors will fit over existing plants with ease and offer a guard against [inclement weather](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-snow-shovel) all season long. The Cedar Shrub Guards also work effectively in the summer months as A-frame trellises that can be used with climbing vegetables like cucumbers, peas, beans, squash, grapes and more to help them flourish. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Greenery Protection Innovations:** There is an opportunity for developing new and creative ways to protect greenery from winter weather and other hazards. - **Naturalistic Garden Accessories:** There is a growing trend for garden accessories that blend in with the outdoor environment and offer a more naturalistic look. - **Multi-functional Garden Products:** There is a trend towards garden products that can be used for multiple purposes, such as the Cedar Shrub Guards that also function as A-frame trellises. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Gardening Supplies:** The gardening industry can capitalize on the trend towards naturalistic and multi-functional garden products like the Cedar Shrub Guards. - **Home Improvement:** Home improvement companies can expand their offerings to include protective and naturalistic garden accessories like the Cedar Shrub Guards. - **Outdoor Furniture and Decor:** Outdoor furniture and decor companies can add to their product lines with naturalistic and weather-resistant garden accessories like the Cedar Shrub Guards. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shape-Preserving Shoe Guards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crep-protect-3.md) - [Protective Windshield Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frostguard.md) - [Sustainable Growth Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treesoil.md) - [Farm-Sourced Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fraser-fir-christmas-tree.md) - [Living Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive.md) - [Rustic Metal Garden Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-corten-steel-modular-raised-bed.md) - [Heavy-Duty Holiday Mats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-tree-floor-mat.md) - [Seasonally Curated Lawn Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/custom-yard-kits.md) - [Artisan Plant Care Brushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-brush.md)
