I really like the symbolism behind this design of the CCP Complex (Cultural Center of Philippines). As the center for [arts and culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/centre-des-cultures-et-spiritualits-ews) in Asia, specifically a centerpiece of artistic expression for the Filipino soul and spirit, the CCP Complex was designed with the art of [tapestry weaving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capital-international-exhibition) in mind. Not only does this influence stem from the arts, but it also symbolizes the intricate layers of diverse characteristics that form a solid and whole community.

Designed by Buensalido Architects, the CCP Complex really does take on a threaded look. The CPP Complex also abides by all the B.E.R.D.E (Building Ecologically Responsive Design for Excellence) norms, thanks to the use of solar power and other [eco-friendly additions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taichung-green).
