The project's main focus was updating the building to reflect modernist movements in the field of design, creating a tranquil ambiance for the residents, as well as fostering agreeable relationships with the main structure and the many outhouses that contain the bakehouse and toilets. The cave-like house offers breathtaking vistas of the Aegean Sea. Hence, in terms of design, the [minimalism works well](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pretpec) as it does not overpower the view. The smooth angles within the abode create a sense of fluidity and a calm refuge. Besides the very clear and clean aesthetic overhaul, Kapsimalis Architects worked on the overall layout of the cave-like house to create a good flow of action.
