The Peek A Boo pieces undertake a design-forward approach to functionality and aesthetic. The offerings are coated with a soft microsuede fabric and boast triangular openings. The way the Peek A Boo furniture is meant to be used is simple. While the interior of the pieces offers pets a space to nap and lounge, the exteriors can be used by humans to sit or lean. One example of the cat-friendly furniture boasts a tubular piece that humans can use as a pillow, while their pets can nap inside of it. Due to the construction of the offering and its perforated body, the interior is kept cool and comfortable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Cat-friendly Furniture:** Opportunities for creating innovative furniture designs that cater to the needs of both cats and their owners. - **Design-forward Functionality:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in developing furniture pieces that combine functionality and aesthetic appeal. - **Microsuede Fabric Coating:** Potential for disruptive innovation in using microsuede fabric as a coating material for furniture pieces, offering a soft and comfortable experience. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovative opportunities for furniture manufacturers to create cat-friendly designs that meet the needs of both pets and their owners. - **Pet Products:** Disruptive innovation potential in the pet product industry to develop unique and functional furniture pieces for cat owners. - **Textile Manufacturing:** Opportunities for textile manufacturers to explore the use of microsuede fabric in coating furniture, providing a soft and luxurious experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cozy Cat-Friendly Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-single-sofa.md) - [Modular Cat-Friendly Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quarter-sofa.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Modular Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-couch-concept.md) - [Pet-Catered Sleek Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/papuk.md) - [Cat-Friendly Minimal Desk Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-cubby-desk.md) - [Modern House Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/choo-choo-console.md) - [Hybrid Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cat-tower.md) - [Customizable Feline Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-modular-cat-furniture.md)
