The unit works as a traditional scratching post for cats to help prune their nails or simply work out their natural tendency to scratch. When activated, the scratch post starts a series of lasers that begin to be shifted around the post to engage felines in a bit of play. The unit can be set to slow, medium, fast and randomized to be used and is an exceptional way for [cats to stay in shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teendow-xlym).
