# Celebrity Cat Costume Cartoons These Cute and Funny Cat Drawings Will Put a Smile on Your Face By Mesel Isaac | Published 2014-02-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-drawings References: [fer1972.tumblr](http://fer1972.tumblr.com/post/76634538587/iconic-cats-by-a-ke) & [edge.neocha](http://edge.neocha.com/chinese-creatives/iconic-cats-illustration-series-from-shanghai-based-illustrator-a-ke/) A funny series of cat drawings entitled 'Iconic Cats' depicts several cats dressed up as [famous pop-culture icons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thrilljoy-pix). Drawn by Shanghai-based illustrator A KE, 'Iconic Cats' is hilarious in addition to being very beautiful to look at. Some of history's most well-known figures (Elvis, Charlie Chaplin, and Bruce Lee) as well as many fictional characters (Batman, James Bond, and Darth Vader) appear in A KE's series. Unlike most drawings similar to Iconic Cats, A KE draws regular cats that are wearing costumes, instead drawing cat versions of famous people. This makes for a funnier series, as some of the costumes appear loose fitting, almost like an awful Halloween costume. These cat drawings are sure to put a smile on any cat lover's face, and probably even dog lover's too. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pop-culture Cat Drawings:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating a line of merchandise featuring cat drawings dressed as famous pop-culture icons. - **Humorous Animal Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing a platform or app that allows users to create and share their own funny animal drawings. - **Cat Lover Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Producing a web series or animated show focused on cat characters dressed as celebrities for entertainment purposes. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Using AI technology to create personalized cat drawings dressed in costumes based on customer preferences and interests. - **Fashion and Apparel:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with illustrators to create a line of clothing and accessories inspired by cat drawings. - **Digital Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Partnering with popular social media influencers to create engaging cat-themed content and monetize through brand collaborations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Humorous Cat Collectables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tired-cats-gachapon.md) - [Pop Star-Themed Animals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taylor-swiftthemed-cats.md) - [Big-Screen Cat Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inaba.md) - [Spooky Charming Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crown-paw.md) - [Adorable Cat Milk Cartons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adorable-blue-cat.md) - [Cat-Friendly Book Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tails-of-irresistibility.md) - [Holiday-Centric Pet Outfits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsmart-2.md) - [Celebrity-Inspired Cartoon Heels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/katy-perry-1.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md)
