# Cat-Friendly Minimal Desk Concepts Liam de la Bedoyere Desgisn the Cat Cubby Desk Concept By Amy Duong | Published 2024-03-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-cubby-desk References: [yankodesign](https://www.yankodesign.com/2024/03/04/minimalist-desk-concept-has-a-special-place-for-your-cat-to-sleep-in/) & [boredeye.design](http://www.boredeye.design/) Liam de la Bedoyere imagines the [Cat Cubby Desk concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neko-yama) that considers the feline friends at the forefront. The conceptual design is a wooden desk boasting a [minimal design language](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/single-desk) with a plant of wood at the table's surface supported by a U-shaped bent metal as the supportive frame at the bottom. It has an open design with no compartments -- just a singular flat surface to hold items. The most notable feature is the 'cubby' that is designed to fit one cat -- the side of the table bends inwards to create a hooked structure just large enough for a cat to rest in.
