The base also comes in a number of different shapes, so customers have a few options to choose from. According to DesignBoom, "with an understanding of the scientific property, the creators use [the lights] power to transfer an electrical current to a six foot white incandescent tube." Once the tube is connected, it can also be slowly removed and still glow due to the power of the magnetic field that's generated. In regards to design, the lamp is quite bright and slender, and would make a statement in any living room. Overall everything about the product is minimalist, with more attention being placed on the ability of the magnetic field than the light itself.
