The cases are made from old cassette tapes, which have been gutted, and rebuilt to fit the 4th generation [iPod Nano](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/imirror). Contexture Design is a company based in Vancouver, Canada which recycles old cassette tapes instead of letting them pile up in a landfill site. The 45 Nano Cases project is not only eco-friendly, but is also a cool way to jazz up and add some unique style to your iPod Nano. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Cassette-Inspired Music Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowsky-retro.md) - [Nostalgic Retro Music Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-mixtape-kit.md) - [Retro Transparent Cassette Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/its-real.md) - [Nostalgic Audio Interfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cassetteone.md) - [Retro Cassette-Themed DACs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowsky-retro-nano.md) - [Cassette-Inspired Music Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-audio-player.md) - [Nostalgic Watch-Fitting Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tinypod-1.md) - [Minimalist Wireless Cassette Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/we-are-rewind-cassette-player.md) - [Pop Band Cassette Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/we001-duran-duran-special-edition.md)
