These details include, but are not limited to, unique wood frames around each window, [outer stone sections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-bressan) and wooden pillars. Designed by Damilano Studio Architects, the Casa D house is located in Cuneo, Italy. Although it embraces a completely contemporary aesthetic, this low-rise home does have a classic appeal that speaks to past generations. Open and spacious, Casa D also seems to focus on communal spaces, which really speaks to the Italian love for family. Overall, the Casa D house is bright, airy and inviting. Cool and warm at the same time, it really is the [perfect family home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haus-am-lagnesberg). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Window Frame Reinvention:** A trend towards unique frames around windows, made from innovative materials and designs, provides an opportunity for material science and architecture industries to collaborate on eco-friendly and visually appealing designs. - **Contemporary Coziness:** The trend towards contemporary design with a classic appeal creates opportunities for interior design firms to focus on functional comfort and creating livable, warm spaces through enhanced technology and smart furniture design. - **Communal Space Design:** Homes that focus on communal spaces and the Italian love for family, offer opportunities for furniture companies and architecture firms to create multifunctional and modular designs that encourage social interactions in limited spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Material Science:** The trend towards window frame reinvention provides an opportunity for material science and architecture industries to collaborate on eco-friendly and visually appealing designs. - **Interior Design:** The trend towards contemporary design with a classic appeal creates opportunities for interior design firms to focus on functional comfort and creating livable, warm spaces through enhanced technology and smart furniture design. - **Furniture:** Homes that focus on communal spaces and the Italian love for family, offer opportunities for furniture companies and architecture firms to create multifunctional and modular designs that encourage social interactions in limited spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reflective Artful Calming Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-gesso.md) - [Hillside Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-bm.md) - [Light-CelebratingTwo-Storey Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-tres-rboles.md) - [Lively Transformed Vibrant Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-buondelmonti.md) - [Earthy Tonal Relaxing Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-maiora.md) - [Tree-Inspired Suburban Tranquil Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-figueira.md) - [Light-Centric Evocative Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-emma.md) - [Cool Tonal Stylistic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/take-time.md) - [Spain-Based Bright Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-mila.md)
