The cubelike nature of this architectural masterpiece -- created by Ricardo Agraz of Agraz Arquitectos -- is simply sensational. The Casa Cubo is located in Zapopan, Guadalajara and is considered to be suitable for a single family with an appreciation of the sleek, modern features of this angular abode. The Casa Cubo was architecturally constructed as a solution to the [sloping landscapes of the property](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-av), and with the spectacular [boxy overhangs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tallowwood-cabin), I'd say the Casa Cubo was the perfect solution for this topography. **Implications** - Architectural designs that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings appeal to Earth-minded consumers and lovers of the outdoors alike. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Boxy Architecture:** Boxy designs are gaining popularity as a way to create modern, sleek architectural masterpieces. - **Integration with the Environment:** Architectural designs that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings appeal to Earth-minded consumers and lovers of the outdoors alike. - **Angular Houses:** Houses with angular designs are becoming increasingly popular as a way to create unique and striking architectural statements. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers should consider incorporating boxy and angular designs into their projects to attract buyers who appreciate modern and unique architecture. - **Architecture:** Architects should explore the possibilities of creating boxy and angular designs that seamlessly integrate with the environment and fit the topography of the land. - **Home Improvement:** Homeowners and DIY enthusiasts can experiment with incorporating boxy and angular designs into their homes to create a modern and unique look. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Cubic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/appels-architekten.md) - [Sleek Modular German Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-anton-ii.md) - [Monolithic Custom Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-catedral.md) - [Tree-Centered Cubic Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonalli-house.md) - [Contemporary Adaptable Concrete House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/binocular-house.md) - [Lofty Minimalist Living Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-living-space1.md) - [Sculptural Canteliver Concrete Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-del-alma.md) - [Castle-Inspired Cylindrical Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-del-tec.md) - [Floating Level Aesthetic Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-house-1.md)
