This playful Carlsberg stunt saw a custom motorized cart driven around the store as a seriously supped up vehicle that makes shopping easier. Captured on hidden cameras set up around the store, the publicity stunt is now a commercial campaign supported the by #IfCarlsbergDid and #ProbablyTheBest campaigns.
The motorized cart was customized by Yiannimize, who built-in an electric engine, beer-cooling system, digital display dashboard, satellite navigation, a leather race car seat and alloy wheels. The over-the-top cart was driven by one man, who basically terrified the shoppers attempting to go about their daily routine at the Clapham Junction Asda store.
The hilarious campaign was a response to common complaints from men regarding supermarket shopping, such as having to purchase warm beer and navigating the aisles.
