A work of art, the woodland house can easily be mistaken for an installation rather than a habitable home. Perhaps a balance between the two is the proper way to view such a structure. The transparent nature of Carlo Santambrogio's creation encourages people to be thoughtful about their immediate surroundings and the world in general, which is often the case with art on a basic level. Clean and clear, the woodland house by Carlo Santambrogio not only features [transparent walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tranquil-abiding), but transparent furniture as well. Rife with see-through floors, stairs, tables and beds, Carlo Santambrogio's house could be considered a frosty mirage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Transparent Architecture:** Embracing the use of transparent materials in architectural design to create visually stunning and thought-provoking structures. - **Furniture Transparency:** Exploring the integration of transparent furniture to complement transparent architecture and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. - **Symbiosis of Art and Home:** Blurring the lines between art installation and habitable home through innovative architectural designs that provoke introspection. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** Architects can embrace transparent materials to create unique and captivating buildings that challenge traditional norms and inspire a connection with the surrounding environment. - **Furniture Design:** Designers can explore the use of transparent materials in furniture to create visually light and modern pieces that seamlessly blend with transparent architectural designs. - **Art Installation:** Artists and creatives can embrace architectural concepts to blur the boundaries between art and living spaces, creating immersive experiences that invite contemplation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Trapezoidal Concrete Forest Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ksa-studen.md) - [Transparent Birchwood Nature Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immerso-glamping-cabin.md) - [Immersive Forest-Surrounded Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kw-house.md) - [Lush Surroundings Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-house-1.md) - [Glass‑brick Belgian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-brick-house.md) - [Apple Tree-Surrounding Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acdf.md) - [Tranquil Argentinian Forest Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-house-1.md) - [Woodland Arts Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waterhouseoyama.md) - [Forest Sanctuary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sadowski-house.md)
